Cresto Safety has been notified by a supplier that an integral component of a number of SIMO+ work positioning lanyards may be defective and therfore poses a potential risk of disintegration during use.
You are now advised to check the batch code and serial number on any SIMO+ products you may have in your possession.
Due to this manufacturing defect, Cresto Safety ask you to immediately stop using any of the items listed and described below. Please remove from service, quarantine, and follow instructions below.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:
It has come to our attention that, due to an oversight by our supplier, there is a significant likelihood that the rope grab screws in this batch of rope grabs marked 21P1 and 22P1 may be missing thread lock, a crucial component for securing the screws. This defect could potentially compromise the safety and functionality of the rope grab, presenting a high risk to users.
RECTIFICATION PLAN:
Reworking: All affected rope grabs should be returned to Cresto Safety or an approved Cresto Safety Servicing Partner to be reworked with new thread locks.
DOCUMENTATION:
Every reworked product will be meticulously documented, with updates made to each affected serial number to ensure full traceability and accountability.
