RESQ Solo X is fully automatic—simply connect and go. It’s your personal, pocket-sized lifesaver, engineered to eliminate human error when every second counts. Leave no doubt — because when it matters most, simplicity saves lives.
Simply secure an anchor point, attach Solo X to your harness, and you’re ready for a safe descent. No buttons, no complex setups — everything is fully automatic. The device will lower you gently to the ground in a controlled descent. However, if needed, users can manually control the descent speed or pause the descent, ensuring greater flexibility during the operation.

With Solo X, every worker is equipped with an evacuation kit they can call their own, providing the means for independent, immediate, and adaptable escape and self-rescue. Barely bigger than a smartphone and incredibly user-friendly, the Solo X is fully self-activated and allows safe descents automatically during an emergency.
As light as your laptop, you’ll hardly notice you’re carrying it on your belt or harness. The whole kit is ultra-lightweight and compact with a super-thin, high-performance line (4.8 mm in diameter and only 16.5g/m).
A TAILOR-MADE KIT FOR WIND THAT REDUCES UNNECESSARY WEIGHT
Solo X rescue solutions are tailored specifically for the wind industry. To ensure you only carry as much as required, kits can be pre-configured for any height from 25 to 300 meters. The entire system is secured in a compact carry bag, easy to transport and deploy. Simply attach the bag to your belt or harness when working at height.

RESQ Solo X dramatically reduces evacuation time by being readily accessible and self-activating. Its intuitive design ensures easy use, providing a clear evacuation plan and significantly enhancing user safety.
The integrated swivel reduces the risk of the rope twisting during use, and together with the coreless rope, reduces the risk of ’ghost knots,’ contributing to a safer descent.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE BRAKING SYSTEM
The advanced centrifugal brake system is designed with cutting-edge technology and high-quality components, ensuring 100% mechanical integrity with minimal moving parts. The system provides optimal friction for deviation points, allowing adaptation and controlled descent in all environments. A separate brake housing protects the brake mechanism and its functionality, while a heat protector shields the user from burn injuries. Verified performance ensures the system is always tested beyond compliance, guaranteeing reliability and safety.

RESQ Solo X is designed with simplicity in mind. Unlike other evacuation kits, no advanced specialist training is required. With a relevant GWO training qualification, all that’s left to do is watch the instructional video and read the Solo X User Manual.

RESQ Solo X is certified according to CE marking standards in Europe and ANSI standards in the USA (EN 341:2011 – 1D ANSI Z359.4:2013). Solo X features our life-extending VACUUM+ technology. Air-tight packaging enables the device to be by your side in pristine condition for up to 30 years, even when you work in harsh environments. It operates in two 15-year phases, with a full service after the first phase to ensure continued performance. Servicing after 15 years can be provided by Cresto Safety or one of our approved partners. With minimal upkeep, you can count on long-term reliability and safety.
