Personal fall protection is used where there is a risk of free fall and no other protection is available. The protection must primarily prevent a fall, but also catch a falling person so that he is not injured.

According to standard EN363:2008, all areas for the use of personal fall protection are divided into five methods:

  1. Fall protection
  2. Fall stop
  3. Support equipment
  4. Rope access
  5. Rescue

METHOD 1.1

Suitable for temporary climbing or short-range work. Double fall arrester when moving, single rope for stationary work.
